Michael and Brenda Ledbetter purchased Marilyn's Nursery in 2007. Although the nursery had been operated under serveral different owners, it has been a staple for the gardeners of central Missouri for the last 20 years.
Mike graduated from Central Methodist College in 1978 and went on to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated in 1983. He has practiced medicine at the Lake of the Ozarks for the last 25 years. Mike and Brenda also own and operate the Camdenton Farm and Garden Center in Camdenton, Missouri where they offer many of Marilyn's Nursery's fine products.
Michael and Brenda Ledbetter, Owners
Steven Younger has been an irreplaceable asset at Marilyn's Nursery for the last several years. Formerly of Moon Valley Nurseries in Phoenix, Arizona, Steve brings years of experience in the horticultural field to Marilyn's. Affectionately referred to as "The Tree Guy", he has an unbridled passion for what he does, and it shows in the nursery stock that he manages and the way he interacts with customers. Steve "knows all" when it comes to trees and shrubs; their growth habit, sun/shade/water requirements and is also well-versed in diseases and pests that frustrate every gardener. Got a question or need that special advice on what you should put where...this is your guy.
