Remember......holiday feeding and weed control for your lawn.
Start at Easter with a pre-emergent/fertilizer product such as Fertilome Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food. For longer crabgrass prevention, reapply this product on Memorial Day. For post-emergent broadleaf weed control, apply Hi-Yield Weed & Feed on July 4th, and again on Labor Day. The most important feeding of your lawn comes on Thanksgiving with Fertilome Winterizer, which will prepare your lawn's root system for the following spring. This Is The Best Time Of Year To Seed and Maintain Your Lawn
- When installing a yard, make sure you have at least 3 inches of good topsoil.
- An irrigation system is really a must, if you want a good turf lawn, when living in the Ozarks.
- Apply 10# of a fine fescue mix/1000 sq. ft. to a new lawn or 4#/1000 sq. ft. to overseed an established lawn. Make sure to use a lawn starter fertilizer, even when overseeding an established lawn.
- Remember....holiday feeding of your lawn: Easter, July 4th, Labor Day, and especially Thanksgiving. Talk to use about which Fertilome product to use at these times.
